The Motorcycle LFP Starter 5Ah is a 12.8-volt lithium starter battery rated 350 cold-cranking amps at 0.9 kilograms, in an IP65 case. It fits scooters, mid-size motorcycles and snowmobiles.
Mounting
Any orientation, no acid

There is no free liquid inside a LiFePO4 pack. The battery mounts upright, on its side, or inverted with no risk of spill and no vent tube to route. A scooter tray under the floor, a tight sub-frame box on a snowmobile, or a bracket angled to clear a shock all become usable mounting points. A flooded lead battery in those positions leaks acid onto the frame.
The Bikes
350 amps of cranking
350 cold-cranking amps start the 250cc to 500cc singles and twins that ship with a YTX5 or YTX7-class lead battery, and they turn a cold snowmobile engine that a tired lead unit cannot. The 64 watt-hours carry the ignition, heated grips on a low setting and the instruments.
Vibration
What the case takes
The cells sit in a moulded holder inside the case rather than resting on plates. Snowmobile and scooter mounts pass constant vibration into the battery, and a plate-built lead battery sheds active material under it. The IP65 seal covers slush, spray and a wash-down.
Beyond Cranking
Running the electrics at a stop
Heated grips on a scooter pull 30 to 50 watts on high, around 3 to 4 amps at 12 volts. The 64 watt-hours cover an hour of that with the engine stopped before the pack reaches its low-voltage cutoff. On the move the machine’s charging output carries the load and puts the charge back.

Fit
Charging
Ride charging suits the battery. For winter storage on a snowmobile, put it away near half charge and top it with a lithium charger at 14.6 volts before the season, never with a lead maintainer left on all winter.
