The 48V 80Ah Golf Cart Battery is a 51.2-volt LiFePO4 pack of 4,096 watt-hours with a 150-amp continuous rating, rated IP67. It powers four-seat carts and grounds vehicles.

What extra passengers cost

A cart carrying four adults and their bags works considerably harder than a two-seater. Consumption climbs by roughly a third on the same route, and hills that a light cart takes at speed become a sustained pull. 4,096 watt-hours cover a full round with a loaded cart and leave reserve for the trip back to the barn.
Current
150 amps for a loaded start
A cart motor draws its heaviest current pulling away uphill with a full load. The 150-amp continuous rating and 300-amp peak carry those moments without the pack limiting the vehicle, and the flat lithium voltage keeps the controller from cutting power part way up a rise.
Sealing
IP67 on a wash-down vehicle
Course carts get hosed down, parked in rain and driven through wet grass. The IP67 case handles immersion rather than only spray, and the sealed terminals keep the corrosion that ends lead installations away from the connections.
Efficiency
Where the charge goes
Lead runs at 80 to 85 percent round-trip efficiency; lithium reaches 92 to 98. On a fleet charging every night that difference lands directly on the power bill, and less heat builds in the battery bay through the charge.
