1. Who We Are
Shinko Power (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates shinkoafrika.net (the “Site”), an industrial LiFePO4 battery store serving business and consumer customers. For the purposes of data protection law, Shinko Power is the data controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach our privacy contact at the address in the Contact section below.
2. Scope of This Policy
This policy covers information collected through the Site, through email and support conversations with our team, and through order and warranty processing. It does not cover third-party websites we link to, carriers who deliver your goods under their own policies, or payment providers acting as independent controllers of your card data.

We do not collect special categories of personal data (such as health or biometric information) and we ask that you do not send them to us.
4. How We Use Information
- To take payment, fulfil orders, arrange freight and parcel delivery, and send order confirmations, invoices and tracking numbers.
- To answer product questions, prepare quotations, and provide technical support and installation guidance.
- To register, assess and resolve warranty claims, including matching cell QR codes to factory batch records.
- To screen orders for fraud and to protect the Site against abuse and attack.
- To understand how the Site is used, fix problems, and improve pages, navigation and product documentation.
- To meet legal obligations, including tax, accounting, product safety and dangerous-goods shipping rules.
- With your consent, to send product news and offers by email. Every message includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract for order processing, delivery and warranty service; legitimate interests for fraud screening, Site analytics and business record-keeping, balanced against your rights; legal obligation for tax, accounting and transport-compliance records; and consent for marketing email, which you may withdraw at any time.
6. Sharing and Disclosure

|---|---|---|
| Shipping carriers and freight forwarders | Delivering your order | Name, delivery address, phone, shipment contents where required for dangerous-goods paperwork |
| Payment processors | Taking payment, refunds, fraud checks | Payment and billing details they collect directly |
| Hosting, security and analytics providers | Running and protecting the Site | Technical and usage data |
| Email service provider | Transactional and marketing email | Email address, name, message content |
| Professional advisers and authorities | Legal compliance, defense of claims, lawful requests | The minimum necessary for the matter |
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. If Shinko Power is ever part of a merger or asset sale, customer records may transfer with the business under the same protections.
7. Cookies and Tracking
The Site uses cookies for the shopping cart, checkout session, preferences and aggregate analytics. A full list of cookies, their lifetimes and how to control them is in our Cookie Policy.
8. International Transfers
We operate from the United States and China, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where information moves across borders from a jurisdiction that restricts transfers, we use recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with the receiving party.
9. Data Retention

10. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete information we no longer need to keep; restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing, which we stop on request without exception; port the information you provided to us in a machine-readable format; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise a right, email us from the address on your account or order so we can verify the request. We reply within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your supervisory authority.
11. California Residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, our business purposes, and the categories of third parties we share with; request deletion or correction; and are entitled not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CPRA, and we do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide our services. Requests can be made by email; an authorized agent may act for you with written permission.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Site sells industrial electrical equipment and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Data Security
- The Site is served entirely over HTTPS with modern TLS.
- Card data is handled by PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors and never stored by us.
- Administrative access to order data is restricted to staff who need it, protected by strong authentication, and logged.
- Backups are encrypted and access-controlled.
No online service can promise absolute security, but if a breach ever affects your personal information we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
14. Third-Party Links
Product pages and articles may link to manufacturer datasheets, standards bodies and other external sites. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, and a link is not an endorsement of their practices.
15. Changes to This Policy
We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version; material changes will be flagged on this page for 30 days. Continued use of the Site after a change means the updated policy applies.
