The 24V 150Ah LiFePO4 Battery is a 25.6-volt pack of 3,840 watt-hours with a 150-amp continuous rating, on M8 terminals, rated IP65. It serves as a yacht house bank and an off-grid store on a 24-volt system.
The Yacht House
A day at anchor

A cruising yacht at anchor runs refrigeration and a freezer, cabin and navigation lighting, fresh water and bilge pumps, instruments, autopilot standby and charging for the crew. That comes to 100 to 140 amp-hours across 24 hours on a mid-size hull. 3,840 watt-hours cover the day with reserve for a second night before the engine or the genset runs.
Inverter Duty
150 amps at 24 volts
A 150-amp continuous rating at 25.6 volts carries close to 3,800 watts. A 3,000-watt inverter draws about 125 amps at this voltage, inside the rating, and it runs a galley induction hob, a microwave or a watermaker. The same load on a 12-volt bank would pull 250 amps and need twice the cable.

Parallel for a bigger boat
Two packs in parallel give 300 amp-hours and 7,680 watt-hours, enough for a full-time liveaboard with a watermaker and air conditioning at anchor. Match the packs at rest before joining them, and size the bus bars and the fusing to the combined current.
Solar
What an arch array replaces
A cruising yacht carries 600 to 800 watts of panel on the arch. In good latitudes that returns 3 to 4 kilowatt-hours across a day, close to a full refill of this pack. A 24-volt MPPT controller on an LFP profile handles the array, and the generator stays off except through a run of grey weather.
