The 12V 200Ah Self-Heating Battery is a 2,560 watt-hour block with an internal heating film and a Bluetooth BMS, on M8 terminals, rated IP65. It is a large cold-climate house battery for a winter off-grid site or a four-season RV.

Charging a big bank below zero

An off-grid site in a cold region has to refill its battery through the freeze. This block routes charge current to a heating film below zero, warms the cells above freezing, then takes the charge, down to minus twenty ambient. A solar array or a generator refills the 200 amp-hours on a frozen day.
The Site
Two days of reserve
2,560 watt-hours carry a well-equipped rig or a small off-grid cabin a day and a half to two days. The Bluetooth app reports the pack temperature and the heater draw. Discharge runs to minus twenty. The site keeps working through a cold night.
Against The Standard 200
Heater or not
The standard 200Ah block refuses charge below zero to protect the cells. The self-heating version charges through it. For a warm climate the standard block is the lower-cost fit.
The Heater
What it costs to charge
The heater draws from the charge source, not the stored capacity. Warming the cells from deep cold adds time to the first part of a charge, and a larger panel or a generator covers it. Once the cells pass freezing the charge runs at full rate. The Bluetooth app shows the heater phase and the switch to normal charging.

Fit
Charging
Charge at 14.6 volts from a lithium charger, an LFP solar controller or a generator. Below zero the heater warms the cells from the charge source before they accept current.
