The 72V 50Ah E-Moto Battery Plus is a 72-volt LiFePO4 pack of 3,680 watt-hours with a 100-amp continuous rating and an optional liquid-cooling circuit, rated IP65. It powers high-speed electric motorcycles and cargo trikes.
High Current
100 amps continuous

A 5,000-watt motor draws about 70 amps at 72 volts in steady running and past 130 on a hard launch. The 100-amp continuous rating and 200-amp peak carry that without the pack limiting the vehicle. On a cargo trike the same headroom covers a loaded start on a gradient.
Heat
Why cooling becomes an option here
Current through a pack makes heat inside the cells, and heat is what ages a battery fastest. At 100 amps sustained, a passively cooled pack in a closed bay climbs steadily on a hot day. The optional liquid circuit holds the cells near ambient under that load, and it pays for itself on a vehicle that works hard in a warm climate.
Range
3,680 watt-hours
At 25 to 30 watt-hours a kilometre for a fast machine or a loaded trike, the pack covers 120 to 145 kilometres. A courier running a fixed route plans two shifts between charges rather than one.
Fast Charging
What it costs the pack
A 30-amp charger fills this pack in about ninety minutes against three hours at 15. The trade is heat and a little cycle life. A vehicle that fast-charges every day gives up perhaps ten percent of its rated cycles across the pack lifetime. A fleet running two shifts takes that trade; a private rider charging overnight has no reason to.

Fit
Charging
Charge at 82.8 volts from a 72-volt lithium charger of 20 amps or more. A vehicle working two shifts wants a fast charger sized to the break between them.
