The Forklift Battery 48V 460Ah is a 51.2-volt LiFePO4 traction pack of 23,552 watt-hours with a 400-amp continuous rating, rated IP54, supplied in a weighted box matched to the truck data plate. It powers 2.5 to 3.8 tonne counterbalance trucks.
The Charge Room
Floor space that comes back
A lead fleet needs a dedicated room: acid-resistant floor, eyewash station, forced ventilation for the hydrogen, a hoist and racking. A lithium fleet charges at the truck. That room becomes storage or a staging area, and the ventilation and safety equipment come off the maintenance schedule.

What sealed cells remove
Lead cells vent hydrogen through every charge and hold acid that can spill in a collision. This pack is sealed, vents nothing in normal operation, and the chemistry does not sustain a thermal runaway the way a cobalt-based cell can. A warehouse insurer reads that difference in the fire assessment.
Charging
After the change room closes
With the change room gone, chargers move to the parking bays. Each truck needs its own outlet rather than a shared bank, and the supply has to carry the simultaneous load of the fleet plugging in at shift end. Work that total out before the first charger is mounted.

Fit
Ordering a 3.8-tonne pack
Send the make, model, compartment dimensions and the plated minimum battery weight. At this tonnage the counterweight contribution is large, and the weighted box is what keeps the load chart on the mast honest.
