12V 200Ah Plus LiFePO4 Battery

The 12V 200Ah Plus LiFePO4 Battery pairs 2,560 watt-hours with a 200-amp continuous rating, on M8 terminals, rated IP65. The higher current runs a 2,000-watt inverter direct, for a rig with heavy loads or a parked air conditioner.

The High-Current Point

What 200 amps runs

The base 200Ah battery holds a 100-amp continuous rating. This Plus version doubles it to 200 amps. A 2,000-watt inverter draws about 160 amps at 12 volts, inside the 200-amp rating. It runs continuously from one battery in place of a paralleled pair. A microwave, an induction hob or a set of tools runs off the galley inverter.

Parked Air Conditioning

Cooling plus the house

A 12-volt rooftop air conditioner drawing 80 amps runs about two hours on the 2,560 watt-hours, and the 200-amp headroom leaves current for the fridge and lights alongside it. For a full night the block parallels for more capacity.

Against The Base 200

Same capacity, twice the current

Where the loads are light the base 200Ah block is the fit. Where a big inverter or an air conditioner runs, the Plus carries it from a single case at twice the continuous current.

The Install

Wiring for 200 amps

A 200-amp draw needs the cable and protection to match. A run to the inverter wants heavy cable in the 2/0 AWG range and a fuse or breaker rated near 250 amps close to the terminal. The M8 posts take the ring lugs that cable needs. Sized right, one battery feeds the inverter without a voltage sag at the terminal.

Charge at 14.6 volts from a lithium charger or an LFP solar controller. Parallel blocks for the capacity an air conditioner needs, brought to the same resting voltage first.
