The 12V 20Ah LiFePO4 battery is a 12.8-volt block of 256 watt-hours on M5 terminals. It is the largest of the small-format blocks, sized for solar monitoring posts, larger fence energizers, light e-bikes and portable power that needs a full day of reserve.

Sizing a solar post

A 4G camera runs on 2 to 12 watts depending on how hard it streams, which works out to 4 to 20 watt-hours a day for a typical event-triggered unit. At 8 watt-hours a day, 256 watt-hours hold about a month of reserve with no sun at all, well beyond the three to five cloudy days an installer designs for. A panel of 10 to 20 watts refills the daily draw and recovers a gray week in a couple of clear days.

What runs this way
Weather stations, water-level loggers and trail cameras all follow the same pattern of a steady small load and a panel to refill it, and the 20Ah block gives those posts the autonomy a smaller battery cannot, in a case still small enough to mount on a pole. The M5 terminals take the ring lugs a pole enclosure wires with.

Bikes and portable power
Away from monitoring, the 20-amp continuous rating runs a light-class e-bike, and 256 watt-hours make a compact core for a portable power box for camping and worksite charging. Four cells of this build give the same 12.8 volts a solar controller and inverter already expect, and two blocks in parallel double the reserve in the same footprint class when a site outgrows one.

Fit
Fitment and charging
Charge at 14.6 volts, set a solar controller to an LFP profile, and torque the M5 ring lugs to the datasheet figure. The BMS carries the four standard protections and a low-temperature charge cutoff, discharge runs from minus twenty to sixty degrees, and storage sits at 30 to 50 percent charge with a 2 to 3 percent monthly loss. Match blocks by resting voltage before any parallel connection.
