The 48V 20Ah Battery Swap Pack is a 48-volt LiFePO4 pack of 1,024 watt-hours in an IP67 carry case with RS485 reporting and GPS tracking. It is built for delivery riders and shared-scooter fleets that swap packs instead of waiting on a charge.

Why a fleet stops charging
A rider on shift cannot lose two hours to a charger. A swap cabinet holds charged packs; the rider trades an empty for a full one in under a minute and rides on. The battery becomes a circulating asset rather than a fixed part of the vehicle, and the fleet sizes its cabinet stock to peak demand rather than to the number of bikes.
The Electronics
RS485 and GPS
The RS485 bus lets a cabinet read the pack: state of charge, cell voltages, temperature and cycle count, all before it accepts a swap. GPS reporting tracks a pack that leaves the network. A fleet operator sees a failing cell in a specific pack rather than fielding a rider complaint about a bad bike.

IP67 and a handle
A swap pack is carried, dropped and rained on every day of its life. The IP67 rating covers immersion, not just spray, and the moulded handle and guarded contacts survive the handling a cabinet routine puts them through.
Fleet Sizing
Packs per vehicle
A swap operation buys more packs than vehicles. Roughly 1.3 to 1.5 packs for every bike keeps a cabinet stocked through the peak of a shift, with the extra fraction covering the ones sitting on charge. Below that ratio riders queue at the cabinet; well above it the capital sits idle.

Charging
Cabinet charging runs at 54.75 volts under the cabinet controller. A standalone 48-volt lithium charger serves a rider charging at home between shifts.
