The 12V 150Ah Self-Heating Battery is a 1,920 watt-hour block with an internal heating film and a Bluetooth BMS, on M8 terminals, rated IP65. It is the house battery for a winter RV or a cold-climate boat that must charge in the freeze.
Charging In Winter
Heat before charge

A fitted rig used through winter meets a battery that cannot take charge below freezing without damage. This block heats itself first. Below zero the BMS warms the cells with an internal film, then accepts charge, down to minus twenty ambient. The solar array or the shore charger refills the bank on a frozen morning where a standard battery sits locked out.
The Rig
A cold-country house battery
150 amp-hours run a well-equipped RV or a boat house through a winter day: heat fans, lights, water, the fridge and electronics. The Bluetooth app reports pack temperature and the heater state. Discharge runs to minus twenty as well.
Against The Standard
When you need the heater
For a milder climate the standard 150Ah block covers the loads and refuses charge below zero. Where the rig must refill in the cold, the self-heating version keeps it charging through the season.
In The Cold
Discharge needs no heater
The heater guards charging; discharge needs no help. The block delivers its current down to minus twenty. The rig runs its heat fans, lights and pump through the coldest night without the battery holding back. Capacity drops a few percent in deep cold on any lithium cell, and the pack recovers it as the day warms.

Fit
Charging
Charge at 14.6 volts from a lithium charger, an LFP solar controller or a generator. In the freeze the film warms the cells from the incoming current before they charge.
