The Forklift Battery 80V 400Ah is a 83.2-volt LiFePO4 traction pack of 33,280 watt-hours with a 400-amp continuous rating, rated IP54, supplied in a weighted box matched to the truck data plate. It powers 4 to 5 tonne counterbalance trucks.
Why 80 Volts
Power without the current

A 5-tonne truck needs 30 kilowatts and more at the mast. At 48 volts that is over 600 amps through the cables and the contactors. At 80 volts the same power draws 400. Cable sections come down, contactor wear falls, and the losses along the run drop with the square of the current.
Liquid Cooling
When the option pays
A truck working continuously in a hot yard puts sustained current through the pack, and heat is what ages cells fastest. The optional liquid circuit holds the cells near ambient under that load. In an air-conditioned warehouse the passive pack is enough.
Charging
80-volt charging and the cooling loop
An 80-volt industrial charger returns the pack at 200 to 400 amps depending on the unit. Where the liquid-cooling option is fitted, the loop runs during the charge as well as the shift, and the installation needs its coolant connections and reservoir positioned with the truck rather than added later.

Fit
Ordering an 80-volt pack
Send the truck make and model, the compartment dimensions and the plated minimum weight, and state whether the cooling option is wanted. The cooling circuit changes the box internals and is specified at build rather than retrofitted.
