The Forklift Battery 48V 400Ah is a 51.2-volt LiFePO4 traction pack of 20,480 watt-hours with a 400-amp continuous rating, rated IP54, supplied in a weighted box matched to the truck data plate. It powers 2.5 to 3 tonne counterbalance trucks on three shifts.

Charging on the breaks
A truck working around the clock never has an idle hour. Opportunity charging fills the gaps: fifteen minutes at a break, forty at a shift change, and the pack stays inside its working band all day. Lead cannot take that pattern, and an operation on lead buys two spare batteries per truck instead.
Charger Sizing
Matching the break to the current
A 200-amp charger returns about 10 kilowatt-hours in an hour. Sized against the breaks the operation has, that keeps a 400 amp-hour pack in service continuously. Undersizing the charger is the usual reason an opportunity-charging plan fails on the floor.

Building the opportunity plan
Count the breaks the shift pattern contains, multiply by the charger current, and check the total against the shift energy. A 300-amp charger returns about 15 kilowatt-hours an hour, enough for a heavy shift across two breaks and a changeover. Position the charger where a truck reaches it without crossing a traffic aisle.

Fit
Ordering for three-shift work
Send the truck details and the plated battery weight with the order, and state the shift pattern. A truck running three shifts wants the charger sized against the shortest break rather than the longest, since that is the one that limits the plan.
