The 72V 105Ah LSV Battery is a 73.6-volt LiFePO4 pack of 7,728 watt-hours with a 200-amp continuous rating, rated IP67. It powers 72-volt low-speed vehicles and large sightseeing carts.
What An LSV Is
The federal definition

A low-speed vehicle is a four-wheeled vehicle capable of more than 20 and no more than 25 miles an hour on level pavement, with a gross weight rating under 2,500 pounds. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 500 sets what it carries: a VIN, headlights, turn signals, mirrors, seat belts and the rest of the road equipment. Nearly every state keeps LSVs off roads posted above 35 miles an hour, and all fifty bar them from highways.
Why 72 Volts
Speed at the top of the class
An LSV has to reach 20 miles an hour to qualify and stay under 25. A 72-volt platform holds that band comfortably with a loaded vehicle on a grade, where a 48-volt drive falls off. The higher bus also cuts the current for a given power, and the controller and the cabling run cooler on a vehicle working all day.
Range
7,728 watt-hours on a route
A loaded LSV uses 100 to 150 watt-hours a kilometre depending on passengers and terrain. That puts the pack at 50 to 75 kilometres of real service, a full day on a resort or campus loop with charging overnight.
Certification
What a fleet buyer checks
An LSV in commercial service normally falls under an insurer or a municipal procurement rule. The pack ships with UN38.3 test documentation and CE and FCC marks, and the paperwork travels with the vehicle file rather than being chased later.
