The 36V 60Ah Trolling Battery is a 38.4-volt pack of 2,304 watt-hours with a 60-amp continuous rating, rated IP65, at 15 kilograms. One pack replaces the three lead batteries a 36-volt trolling motor normally needs.
Three Into One
What the swap changes on the deck

A 36-volt lead setup takes three group-27 batteries wired in series, three sets of cables, three hold-downs and about 75 kilograms spread across the boat. This pack puts the same voltage in one 15-kilogram case with one pair of leads. The 60 kilograms that come off usually sit in the bow, where a bass boat feels it in hole shot, trim and the ride through a chop.
Usable Capacity
Rated against real
Lead gives about half its rated amp-hours before the voltage falls too far for a trolling motor to hold speed. Three 100 amp-hour lead batteries deliver near 50 usable amp-hours at 36 volts. This 60 amp-hour pack delivers 60 down to its cutoff, and it does it for 4,000 cycles instead of a few hundred.

70 to 100 pounds of thrust
At 0.55 amps per pound, motors from 70 to 100 pounds of thrust draw 38 to 55 amps at full power, inside the 60-amp continuous rating. Fishing at a third throttle takes a quarter of that, and 2,304 watt-hours carry a full day of working the bank.
Charging
One charger instead of three
An onboard three-bank charger built for lead cannot serve this pack. A single 36-volt lithium charger replaces it, and at 20 amps it refills a fully used 60 amp-hour pack in about three hours. Overnight charging on the trailer is the normal routine between tournament days.
