The 12V 100Ah Mini LiFePO4 Battery packs 1,280 watt-hours into the shorter BCI Group 24 case, on M8 terminals, rated IP65. It carries the same 100 amp-hours as a Group 31 house battery in a box about 70 millimetres shorter, for the boat lockers, van seat-bases and compact trays a full-size case will not fit.
The Space
Where a Group 31 will not go

A Group 24 case runs about 260 millimetres long against the 328 of a Group 31. That 70-millimetre saving is the difference between fitting and not fitting a kayak hatch, a motorcycle top-box, an under-seat well in a small van, or a battery tray sized for the old lead unit. The energy is unchanged. A buyer gets the full 100 amp-hours and 1,280 watt-hours in a footprint that clears the tight space.
House Use
A day of power, small box
The battery runs the same day of house loads as any 100Ah block. A 12-volt fridge takes 30 to 60 amp-hours, lights and a fan a handful of amps, a water pump its short bursts, and a 1,000-watt inverter its share on the 100-amp rating. On a compact camper or a small boat with no spare room, the mini case fits a real house battery where a full one cannot go.
The Choice
Mini or standard
Where the standard tray has room, the Group 31 version of this 100Ah battery is the direct fit. Where it does not, the mini reaches the same capacity in the smaller case. Both replace a lead battery of twice the weight and give the full rated capacity down to the cutoff.
