The 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery Group 31 is a 12.8-volt block of 1,280 watt-hours in the standard BCI Group 31 case, on M8 terminals, rated IP65. It is the reference house battery for an RV or a boat, sized and shaped to drop into the tray a Group 31 lead battery leaves behind.
The Drop-In
Group 31, and what changes

The case matches the Group 31 footprint of the flooded or AGM battery it replaces. It sits in the same tray and hold-down. What changes is the capacity a buyer can use. A Group 31 lead battery of 100Ah gives about 50 usable amp-hours before its voltage sags and its cycle life collapses; this block gives the full 100 amp-hours down to its cutoff, cycle after cycle. It weighs 11.4 kilograms against roughly 25 for the lead one.
House Loads
A day in an RV or a boat
1,280 watt-hours is a day of house power in a fitted rig. A 12-volt compressor fridge uses 30 to 60 amp-hours across a day, lights and a roof fan a handful of amps, a water pump its short bursts, and the electronics their trickle. That leaves the 100-amp continuous rating for a 1,000-watt inverter running a kettle or a coffee grinder in short spells.
Cycle Life
4,000 to 8,000 cycles
The cell holds 4,000 to 8,000 cycles at 80 percent depth. On a daily-cycling house bank that is a decade or more of service. A lead house battery in the same duty is a two to three-year replacement. Across the life of a rig that is several lead batteries against one lithium block.
Banks
Series and parallel
Four in series make a 48-volt bank for a larger inverter. Blocks parallel for more capacity, up to the four-series four-parallel limit the BMS allows. A pair in parallel is 200 amp-hours of usable house storage in the same tray run. Match blocks by resting voltage before joining them.

Fit
Charging
The battery takes 14.6 volts from a lithium charger, an LFP solar controller or an alternator DC-DC unit. Four in series reach 48 volts, and a parallel pair holds 200 usable amp-hours in the same tray.
